Women Tech Council Celebrates Women’s History Month by Announcing the 2022 Shatter List
Women Tech Council (WTC), a national organization focused on increasing the number of women in technology, today released the 2022 Shatter List as part of their celebration of Women’s History Month. The list is the first to name and recognize the technology and innovation companies whose programs are leading and accelerating progress towards breaking the glass ceiling for women in tech.
STEM Activation Program Prepares High School Girls to Fill Technology Talent Pipeline
The Women Tech Council (WTC), a national organization focused on the economic impact of women in technology, today held SheTech Explorer Day, a day-long event to activate, engage and inspire high school girls to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). After two years of virtual summits due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this event drew more than 1,700 girls to learn about and experience STEM careers, and meet role models and mentors who help them see what STEM fields are like and give them a vision of what they can achieve.
Women Tech Council Receives International Accolades for Innovation, Leadership and Impact
SALT LAKE CITY (Dec. 10, 2020)—In recognition of more than a decade of impact throughout the technology pipeline, the Women Tech Council (WTC) was honored by the Stevie Awards for Women in Business as Organization of the Year, and their president and co-founder, Cydni Tetro, was awarded Female Innovator of the Year. By working to magnify the economic impact of women in technology through scalable programs from K-12 to the C-Suite, WTC has accelerated individual careers, propelled the growth of companies, and strengthened the technology ecosystem.
