Ishita Majumdar

Ishita Majumdar is the VP, Analytics Platform & Products in eBay’s CTO organization. She leads a diverse team of data engineers, developers, technical product managers, strategists to shape the future of ebay’s technology. Her organization delivers data driven intelligence using the full spectrum of data analytics technologies to enable product and business decisions. Her team of technical product managers, strategists are responsible for strategic planning, execution and management of eBay’s Technology infrastructure and Platforms. She and her team partners with an engineering organization of 1000, and she is highly respected in eBay for her vast technology expertise, execution proactive customer engagement and her operational excellence.

She is a 20 year industry veteran with deep experience in architecture, strategy, product management and data modeling in Telco (Motorola, IBM, Huawei) and start up accelerators (Plug and Play Tech Accelerator).

She has a BS (Math) from Jadavpur University in India, MS (Math) from Northern Illinois University, MS (Operations Research) from Clemson University, and an MBA from University of Chicago. Ishita has 3 patents and various technology publications.

Ishita was selected as the TechWomen mentor by the US Department of State in 2013. She is an active leader of Women@eBay and an avid speaker, panelist and a keynote speaker in various Tech and Diversity. She has been selected a finalist in Women of the Year and Diversity Initiative of the Year by WomeninITawards in 2019 and the SVBJ 2020 Women of Influence.

Ishita lives in the Bay Area with her daughter, her husband and her 3 year old dog, living life with a glass full of optimism and humor.
