SALT LAKE CITY, March 4, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — More than 600 high school students will converge at the Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) South City Campus on March 13, 2014, to learn more about careers in technology. With the campus’ new Center for Arts and Media as a focal point, students will learn about careers in technology in workshops with names like “Anyone Can Code,” “Girls Gone Tech,” and “Game Programming: Math, Myths, and Careers.” SLCC’s new Center features courses, degrees and certificates in the digital arts, including TV, film, radio, music, sound and lighting technologies and animation. Conference presenters include EA Games, SpyHop and the Women Tech Council.
